Fang: Pre-order!

Esta es una de las primeras copias de resina que hice de la cabeza. Aviso que esta no es la cabeza acabada, dado que después de ver ciertos fallos en la copia de resina, decidí corregirlos en el molde original. Ya tengo el nuevo molde de silicona listo, ahora estoy esperando a recibir la resina. En cuanto la reciba, haré copias para maquillar y poder enseñarla definitivamente.

Sobre el pre-order: Estará abierto del 25 de Junio hasta el 8 de Julio. Al igual que con Merry, podreis elegir entre Oriental, Fresh o Pale Skin de Dollshe. El precio por cabeza será de 145$, gastos de envio gratuitos dentro de España o para gente que compró una Merry. El tamaño de esta cabeza es SD, tiene una circunferencia tamaño 8-9 y usa ojos de 12/14mm.

This is one of the first resin copies I made from the head. The head you see it's not the final one, because after the cast, I noticed some mistakes on the head, so I modified the original one. Now I have the new silicon mold ready, but I'm waiting to recieve the resin I need to make more copies. I will make copies of the improved mold, and they will be ready to face-up so I can show the head better.

About Pre-order: Pre-order period will be from June 25 to July 8. It will be available in Oriental, Fresh and Pale Skin from Dollshe. Price will be 145$, free shipping cost for Spain or people who bough a Merry head. Head size is 8-9 and uses 12/14mm eyes.

Cuerpo: haciendo mejoras!

Quería haber hecho más fotos, pero no la he tensado lo suficiente por miedo a romper alguna pieza, así me costaba mantenerla en pie. En esta foto se ven mejor las articulaciones dobles. A parte de lijar y, voy a hacer los brazos más gordos y un poco más cortos, y las piernas un poco más regordetas.

Cuerpo: trabajando sin descanso!

Estos días que no ha hecho muy buen tiempo he estado trabajando sin descanso en el cuerpo. He modificado la articulación del pecho por segunda vez, y las articulaciones dobles me están matando, pero ha merecido la pena. Ayer por la noche monté el torso y las piernas, para comprobar que se quedaba bien de pie, y no solo eso! He comprobado que a parte de quedarse de en pie la pusiese como la pusiese, puede ponerse en "contrapposto" facilmente (vease pose de la foto), y cruzar las piernas sin mucho problema. También se aguanta de pie con la espalda arqueada hacia delante y hacia detrás. Cuando esté más pulida y pueda ponerle brazos, le haré más fotos, también con las cabezas (Merry, Fang y Ophelia) y comparativas de tamaño por si alguien se ánima a apuntarse al pre-order (pondré más información sobre esto, pero adelanto que quien se apunte al pre-order para costear el casteo en resina, tendrá un descuento del 30%)

This days weather has been weird, and I've spent all time working on the body. I modified the torso joint again, and double joints are killing me, but totally worth it.  Yesterday night I assembled the torso and the legs, just to see If the body could stand without problems, and I discovered that however I put the legs, it standed perfectly, even with "contrapposto" pose (see picture) and crossing legs. Also, it can stand with arched back. I will take more pictures of it when it's finished, also with heads (Merry, Fang and Ophelia) and next to other bodies I have. I will open a pre-order to fund the resin cast, and people who join it will recieve a 30% discount, but I will give more information about it when I finish the body.

Merry: Stock actualizado

He estado trabajando en el cuerpo, ahora estoy haciendo las articulaciones, pero hasta que no pueda montarla más o menos no la enseñaré.
He actualizado la web con el stock de Merry, me falta poner comparaciones de resina.

I've been working on the body, now I'm doing the joints, but I won't show pictures until I can assemble it.

Merry: 1st Pre-order arrival!

Ya ha llegado el primer pre-order de Merrys! Entre hoy y mañana acabaré de preparar los paquetes y empezaré a mandarlos a partir del jueves!

A finales de mes pondré unas pocas cabezas en stock.

Merry heads from first pre-order arrived today! I will prepare the packages today and tomorrow, and will ship them from Thursday. 

At the end of the month I will update the stock status of Merry ;D

Casteando: Fang

Como dije en la entrada anterior, ya he empezado a castear a Fang ^^ El molde de silicona no ha salido perfecto (las orejas han resultado un desastre) pero ya he hecho la primera copia y estoy muy contenta con el resultado! No es perfecta ni de lejos, a parte de las orejas, aún tengo que descubrir como eliminar las burbujas, pero es la primera copia y me hacía ilusión enseñarla. Supongo que Fang se irá a manos profesionales cuando vuelvan las Merrys, así que espero poder tener unas cuantas copias decentes por entonces!

Además, creo que aún no había enseñado bien la versión definitiva del molde ¡espero que os guste!

As I said on the last entrance, I've started casting Fang ^^ The silicon mold is not perfect (the ears turned out a disaster) but I've done the first resin copy and I'm happy with the result! It's not perfect by far, now I have to discoved how to avoid bubbles, but it's the first one and I just wanted to share. I supose Fang will be going to better hand when Merrys come back so I'll try to make better copies until then!

Furthermore, I think I didn't show the final version of the mold. Hope you like it!

La historia de Fang y Ophelia IV

I'm dissapeared! I've been saving and waiting for more LaDoll, silicon and resin and now I'm working hard ò_ó

I bought silicon and resin because I'm trying to cast Fang myself, just a couple of copies so I can show her with different face-ups and stuff (don't worry, copies for sale will be casted by DollShe, as Merry heads) ^^ Righ now the firts part of the mold is drying ~3~ First attempt on bjd mold making was a dissaster, but I learned a lot about it! It was so terrible that I didn't took pictures of the result, so I'll post a chibi-me draw, trying to sculpt. 

I have a lot of ideas and future plans, (just check the web, I've added a "Fairytale" section, but still in process), and also I would like to sculp some heads inspired on Astrid Berges-Frisbey and Benedict Cumberbatch, but I'll have to inform  about image rights and that kind of things, because I want to make it legally. And If it's to complicated, I will make them for myself ú___ù. What do you think about it?

I had to stop working with the body, because I ran out of LaDoll. But I recieved more today, so I will work hard on it as soon as I finish face-up commissions.

Finally, Dollshe wrote me that the Merry heads from last pre-order will be shipped next week. Yai!! Unfortunatelly, we'll have national holydays during the days that the heads are planned to arrive, so the delivery may be delayed ;_____; Cross fingers with me!!
